Summer is a time for fun, but at Assets learning always takes place. The summer program continues to offer the same high quality education of the academic year, but also delivers additional programs called academies.

KINDERGARTEN TO THE 8TH GRADE:

Diagnostic Prescriptive Summer School Program

Each student new to Assets’ program receives a supplemental assessment leading to a Student Profile. The curriculum includes multisensory, structured language approaches such as Slingerland, Orton-Gillingham and Project Read that support student learning.  Accelerated instruction in mathematics, science and literature is available for students who are ready to benefit from such a challenge.  High interest, hands-on enrichment activities designed to pique curiosity, integrate skills and use knowledge are part of each student’s day.

While summer enrollment does not guarantee acceptance into Assets’ fall session, it does provide an optimal opportunity for students, parents and the school to evaluate whether or not Assets is an appropriate placement for a particular student. For fall enrollment, priority will be placed on enrolling appropriate applicants from the summer program on a space-available basis.
