According to Headmaster Salza, it's one of the best Web sites he's ever seen on this topic.

All Kinds of Minds- This program aired on public television on March 26, 2002 and featured experts such as Dr. Mel Levine and G. Reid Lyon. "Excellent and well done," was Headmaster Salza's assessment of the program."Undertakes applied research, product development, program design, and professional training to foster the understanding and optimal care of children with differences in learning." Based upon the work of Dr. Melvin Levine and his colleagues. Highly recommended by Headmaster Salza.

LD Online is an interactive site for kids and adults that can answer your questions about learning disabilities.
The WGBH-PBS production of Mel Levine's "Misunderstood Minds" gives a good overview of what it's like to have learning problems and includes simulations to help the participant appreciate what dsylexics experience.
 
"Unscrambling Dyslexia"- The Newshour with Jim Lehrer on March 11, 1998. Dr. Sally Shaywitz discusses the findings of research that shows that different patterns of brain activity may account for dyslexia.
 
IDA is an international, non-profit, scientific, educational organization dedicated to the study and treatment of dyslexia. This site is a little difficult to read, but it is informative and has excellent information about publications, research and treatment programs.
 

The Hawaii Branch of The International Dyslexia Association is a scientific and educational organization dedicated to disseminating information on dyslexia and related resources available in the community as well as the training of teachers and therapists in Hawaii.
