ASSETS Athletics
Physical education is a vital part of school life at ASSETS - every day, every week, every month. "P.E." at ASSETS creates an enjoyable atmosphere that fosters students' desire to participate in sports and allows them to practice fundamental athletic and social skills such as teamwork and good sportsmanship. The ultimate goal is to instill in students the importance of making physical activity a part of their lifestyle.
The intramural and interscholastic sports programs are co-curricular activities and the philosophy of these programs mirrors the goals of the physical education program. While the teachers at ASSETS guide the physical education and intramural programs, dedicated and caring coaches who understand and believe in the ASSETS athletic philosophy support the interscholastic program.
These three components of our athletic program -- physical education, intramural, and interscholastic sports -- provide numerous opportunities for ASSETS students to participate in a variety of activities that promote good health and team spirit.
